Plagiarism is the act of using another person's words, ideas, or work without proper acknowledgment, presenting them as one's own. At Don Bosco College, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity. To support original research and ethical writing, the Library offers plagiarism detection services to help students and faculty ensure their work is free from unoriginal content.

Library Plagiarism Check Service

The Library provides plagiarism checking
services for both Faculty research and Third Year (T.Y.) Student Projects using DrillBit software. This service is designed to help you meet Goa University standards effectively.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Format: Files must be in PDF format.
  • Similarity Limit: As per Goa University Ordinance OA-38, the similarity index must be 10% or less.
  • Exclusions: In accordance with OA-29.5, the check will exclude references,
    bibliography, generic terms, and small sources (up to 14 consecutive words) as per standard academic protocols.
  • The AI detection report score must be 40% or less.

Please select the appropriate link below to submit your document for verification. You
will need to upload your file and provide the necessary details, once it is scanned
you will receive report on your provided email. The Plagiarism and AI Report will be
emailed to you and your Project Supervisor.

Ensure your file is renamed as: Name_Roll No_Department before uploading
