Library Rules and Regulations


To ensure a respectful and efficient library environment please familiarize yourself with our guidelines. These rules help maintain a harmonious atmosphere for all library users.

  1. Library Hours

    The library operates during specified hours. Please check the library’s opening and closing hours, especially during holidays and vacations.

  2. Access and Membership

    • The library is open to registered students, faculty, and staff of the college.

    • Library access may require a valid college ID or library card.


  3. Borrowing Privileges

    • Borrowing privileges are extended to registered members.

    • Borrowed materials must be returned on or before the due date.

    • Overdue materials may result in fines or suspension of borrowing privileges.


  4. Loan Periods

    • Loan periods may vary based on the type of material borrowed (e.g., books, periodicals, multimedia).

    • Renewals may be permitted if there are no holds on the item.


  5. Reserving Materials

    • Reserved materials can be requested, and notifications will be sent when available

    • Reserved items should be collected within a specified period

  6. Quiet and Respectful Environment

    • Maintain a quiet and respectful atmosphere conducive to study and research

    • Silence your mobile devices and use headphones for audio

  7. Library Resources

    • Handle library materials with care. Report any damaged items to library staff

    • Do not remove library materials without proper checkout

  8. Food and Drinks

    • Food and drinks are not permitted in the library, except in designated areas (if available)

  9. Computer Use

    • Follow computer and internet use policies established by the library

    • Be mindful of others waiting to use library computers

  10. Copyright Compliance
    • Adhere to copyright laws when photocopying or reproducing library materials

    • Respect intellectual property rights

  11. Personal Belongings

    • Keep personal belongings secure. The library is not responsible for lost or stolen items

  12. Library Conduct
